At that rate it wasn’t feasible and it defeated the entire purpose of getting them in the first place.

Making your own solar panels is one of the smartest things to do these days, and it was with this thought in mind that I decided to put together an exact step-by-step guide for anyone who wants to make their own solar panels.

Finally! I spent so much time looking for good resources so I could build my own solar panels. I am happy to finally have found something that’s worth it!

“This guide was perfect for me. I had no experience and was worried that I may not be able to do something like this but to my surprise I had no problems and I have a lot of fun in the process as well!”

“I feel a little embarrassed that I had to try 3 guides before finally finding this one… after a lot of frustration with the other guides I can honestly say that your solar panel guide is the best one out there!”

Remember when I told you that it costs nearly $30,000 for some solar panel systems? Well, you’re not going to pay anywhere near that, not even close!

“I finally built my own solar panels thanks to your guide. I’ve been saving between $24 to $28 every single month and I know for some it may not seem like a lot of money but it feels really good to be spending less on my energy bill.

I think if people knew how easy it was to build solar panels then all the big energy companies would be out of business….read more

In the beginning I simply traveled from factory to factory to learn about different technologies and to build a network of contacts amongst the manufacturers in China.

The toughest thing about visiting over 120 solar panel factories in China is not the time away from home, it’s not the traveling or the language barrier…

The toughest thing are the endless diners and the rice wine that need to be drunk during factory visits to gain a factories’ trust. I assure you, Chinese business culture is not always good for your health!

Nowadays I run a company in Shanghai specialized in quality control. Also I manage our own production facility where we design and produce Off-Grid solar systems.

Back then there was few information available about Chinese solar manufacturers, and some companies feared quality issues. Such companies were spreading the word: “We’re not selling Chinese solar panels, as we’re only selling quality solar panels made in Europe”.

I don’t need to explain that the majority of solar cell and solar panel production has moved to China during the past two years and companies that sell solely ‘Europe made’ solar panels are becoming rare.

Also in 2011 Chinese cell and solar panel manufacturers will continue to take market share from European and American competitors.

As a result, in order to compete in nowadays market, many companies purchase directly from a manufacturer in China. It’s a logical step, however it’s also where often the problems start..

Solar installation companies often work with close deadlines. This applies to solar installers with residential projects and to pv plant developers with MW projects.

Good planning is especially important when you have an installation team on the payroll or when installation dates are forced by plummeting…read more

Household solar power systems have become more affordable in the last decade or so, and many states offer tax savings or even grants to help with the initial costs.

Even with these savings, a professional solar panel installation is still way too expensive for most families. Still, solar power is a much greener alternative to traditional fossil fuels, nuclear power and hydroelectric power.

The energy itself is free for the taking – the sun pumps out enough energy to power the entire planet and then some. The costs lie in the PV panels, batteries, inverters and installation.

If you are willing to learn how to make your own solar panels, you can cut out 90% of that initial set-up cost. Don't worry; you don't need to be a nuclear physicist to figure it out! I was able to read the guide, follow the diagrams and watch the videos and have my system up and running in a weekend.

First things first. You will need to look at your past power bills and determine how much power your household uses. This will tell you how many panels and batteries you will need.

Then you will have to choose a location and position for the panels. Then you can go to the hardware store and buy your supplies to build your system. All of the calculations for materials, placement, angle and power consumption are all in the guide, so this planning stage is actually quite easy.

Once you've bought all of your materials, which will run you about $200 to $250, plus the $50 for the guide, you are ready to start building your solar panels.

If you are ready to learn how to build your own solar panels and start saving money and the environment, download your Solar Power Guide today, buy your materials and start using your free energy in just a few days.

Residential solar systems have been in use for quite some time and are becoming more and more popular as energy prices soar and people are starting to care about the damage being done to the environment from traditional power sources. The prices for professional installations are still way out of most people’s reach though; so many people are starting to look into DIY solar panels.

A DIY solar panel project is surprisingly easy and affordable if you have the right DIY solar guide and materials. The popular guides eliminate all the guesswork, research and complicated calculations for the number, size, location, and angle of the panels as well as explain how to build your own solar panel system for under $250, rather than the $10,000 to $50,000 the professionals charge for installation.

Once you have downloaded your guide, which is available online for under $50, you should go through it to determine your needs and materials. Don’t just head out to the hardware store and trust what they tell you that you will need, or you will end up wasting thousands of dollars on things you don’t need. The guide that I used provided a list and I got it all for $234.

Once you have your materials, simply follow the step-by-step instructions in the guide, and follow the instructions in the videos. Read the section on net-metering and you’re your choices are for going totally off-grid, supplementing your power or doing net-metering with the power company. Some of the DIY Solar Panels Manuals also cover wind power systems, so you may decide to do a combination of solar and wind power for optimal output.

Once you have your DIY solar panels built and installed you will be very impressed with the savings on your power bill and you can feel good about using a totally clean and renewable source of energy for your home.

There are a lot of different things that the media warns everyone about. One of these things is the diminishing of energy sources around the world.

As more and more people use fossil fuels and rely on non-renewable energy, costs will rise and cause widespread panic as people won’t be able to power their appliances, entertainment systems, and much more. However, smart homeowners and people of all backgrounds are learning how to harness free, renewable energy with diy homemade solar panels.

Solar energy is a great solution for the current energy crisis as it takes the power of the sun, which rises and sets on a daily basis. It is not too hard to generate energy from the sun, but it takes a little bit of work.

You can get full instructions on how to install diy homemade solar panels, and power your whole house with relative ease.

One of the downsides that people talk about when considering diy homemade solar panels, is in regards to when the sun goes down, or when it rains. What happens then?

The easiest answer is that solar panels take energy and stores it, and you only use what you need at a certain time. You don’t use all the energy that is pulled from the sun everyday. The panels store energy and used throughout different times.

Building solar panels and storing voltage for later use, starts with a small investment. It doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, but rest assured that diy homemade solar panels will pay for themselves in savings, as you will not have to rely on non-renewable energy, nor will you have to pay anyone for the energy you’ll use in your home.
